Flash Boom
Flash Boom is a series of photographs taken in the darks “calli” (typical streets) of Venice, using an hand-crafted flash, consisting of a mixture of magnesium. Flash powder is blown through the lighting of a fuse, in this way illuminates the space around it for a few moments. The project was made in a three days workshop with the swiss photographer Raphael Hefti.
Some of the photos has been printed as Venice’s postcards.
Flash Boom is a group project.
In the pictures: a photo taken during the few istants of the explosion, the Flash Boom poster, the preparation of the equipment, the exploration of the places, the biginning of the explosion, Venice night.
